Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa Monthly Yoga DVD Yoga Video Teacher, is the founder and Director of Golden Bridge, the largest yoga and meditation center in North America. Gurmukh was given her Sikh spiritual name meaning One who helps people across the world ocean, 36 years ago. Since then, Gurmukh has dedicated her life to fulfilling that responsibility. For nearly three decades, students in Los Angeles and around the world have sought her class in Kundalini yoga, meditation, and pre- and post-natal care.
She is the author of Bountiful, Beautiful, Blissful (St. Martins Press, April 2003) her latest book on the natural power of pregnancy and birth with Kundalini Yoga and meditation. She is also the author of The Eight Human Talents: the Yogic Way to Restoring the Natural Balance of Serenity Within You (Harper Collins, 2000).
Gurmukh is a founding member of Khalsa Way, an organization created to offer Kundalini Yoga, help people deliver and rear healthy children, as well as find success in their careers and relationships. She is the Advisory Spokeswoman and consultant for Yoga Journal and Mothering Magazine and is on the Board of Yoga Alliance.
Gurmukh resides in Los Angeles, has been married for 23 years and has a 22-year-old daughter. She visits India frequently throughout the year to teach and study.
